What we liked

  • One scoop folds vitamins, minerals and probiotics into a single drink
  • Genuinely convenient: it replaced a small handful of separate pills
  • Mixes smoothly and tastes better cold than most greens powders
  • The travel sachets made it easy to keep the routine on the road

What we didn't

  • The subscription is expensive for what is still a supplement
  • A balanced diet already covers much of what is in the scoop
  • The proprietary blend keeps exact per-ingredient amounts vague

What you actually get

AG1 is a single daily powder that bundles a long list of vitamins, minerals, greens and probiotics into one drink. The pitch is convenience, and on that front it delivered. Across several weeks it quietly replaced the small cluster of separate supplements we used to line up each morning, which is a real simplification for anyone tired of juggling bottles.

Taste and routine

Greens powders have a reputation, so we were braced for the worst. AG1 is better than most: mixed cold with plenty of water it is grassy but easy enough to finish, and stirring it into the morning became second nature within days. The single-serve travel packs deserve a mention too, since they kept the habit intact on trips where a tub would have stayed home.

The price question

Here is the sticking point. At roughly eighty dollars a month on subscription, AG1 costs more than several of the apps in this comparison, and it remains a supplement rather than a tracker. If you already eat a varied diet, you are paying a premium for convenience and for ingredients you may largely be getting from food. That value gap is why it sits where it does on our list.

Who it suits

AG1 makes most sense for the person who knows their diet has gaps, travels often, and would rather solve the whole thing with one scoop than manage a shelf of pills. If your routine is already solid and your budget is tight, the money is better spent elsewhere. We rate it last on price, not on how well it does the job it sets out to do.
